Christian Renewal Ministries, led by Reverend James W. Tharp, presents The School of Prayer seminar Wednesday, May 29 through Saturday, June 1 at the Church of the Nazarene on south 19th in Bozeman. All Christian believers, regardless of church affiliation, are invited to attend.

The School of Prayer event consists of 9 hours of study and prayer over four days: Wednesday through Friday from 7pm to 9 pm, concluding on Saturday from 9am to noon. After each session, participants will practice what they have been studying from the Word and pray for spiritual revival within themselves, their families, their community, their nation, and the world.

Reverend James Tharp, founder and president of the Bozeman-based Christian Renewal Ministries, will lead the four-session School of Prayer event. Since 1994, Rev. Tharp has devoted his ministry to helping thousands improve their prayer life at revivals, camp meetings, and pastoral institutes, and through his School of Prayer sessions. Tharp is the editor of the quarterly Christian Renewal Journal, and host of his daily radio broadcast, “A Word on Revival,” which can be heard on his website (below). Reverend Tharp also leads the Big Sky House of Prayer in Bozeman one evening per week, concentrating on worship, intercession, and spiritual revival.

The cost for the four-session prayer seminar is $10 per person or $16 for two, and includes the required School of Prayer workbook. Children are welcome to attend at no charge unless they want their own workbook. No childcare will be available.
